Great experience today for Lunch at Otoro Sushi in Irvine California. Fresh high quality sashimi plate and fish head soup was quite comforting and delicious. I had two service team members checking in on me. Good view of chefs performance. Overall a very satisfying Lunch around 12h30 pm for Wednesday. Parking is very limited here. Just Uber it here.

Otoro Sushi is my favorite sushi spot in Irvine! The food is fresh and you get great value with the chirashi bowl. They give you a lot of thick cuts of a variety of fish. The atmosphere is very elegant and the service is incredible! I’m Japanese so I can be very picky about sushi (😅) and there are very few sushi places owned and operated by Japanese people in Orange County and I believe this is one of the few. It can be pricey depending on what you order but it’s definitely worth it because the fish is very fresh and their rice is delicious too! I’ve only had rice like this before in Japan! I highly recommend this place :-)

Make a reservation!!! Waited for over an hour, but it was worth the wait in the end. The food and service was amazing. Our server gave excellent recommendations. The best sashimi I've ever had and I have been to many sushi places. The premium Chirashi, and sushi were delicious. The ambiance was nice, a very upscale feel, nice music.
